It is possible to walk to Quarteira along the beach and pass the fishing boat harbour, In Quarteira you will find a lovely promenade, a very long beach, restaurants, shops and of course the daily fish and vegetable market. On Wednesday mornings there is a gypsy market on the main dual carriageway, which is definitely worth one visit.
