Cascais is a charming and light town, situated on the Atlantic Ocean and with about 188 000 inhabitants. Very nice for walking, cycling, make a boat trip, play golf or tennis, etc.. It has beaches in the town and it's 5 Km far from Guincho (beach wth dunes ideal for surfers). It has many cafés and restaurants to experience the very nice Portuguese food , eating a delicious grilled fresh fish or to enjoy the sunshine. It has a train that leads to Lisbon (30 minutes) in a nice ride on the seaside. Has commerce and people are very friendly and willing to help. It's a very inviting place for couples and families. The apartment is very bright and is situated in the historical center, a charming and quiet area. It is near the Church of the Navigators, Marina, gardens, park Marechal Carmona, the Sea Museum, the Cultural Center of Cascais and Casa Paula Rego (famous Portuguese painter). The building is very quiet. It is ideal for a couple or couple with two children.
